Takala Williams is the new Grant and Program Administrator for the Albion Economic Development Corporation. With a degree in Business Administration and more than ten years in business and customer relations, Takala is ready and eager for this new challenge.
Operating her business, Change The World Consulting LLC has been a true adventure, teaching her valuable lessons about the community's needs in business and entrepreneurship, particularly in communications and building connections. Takala firmly believes these skills are needed for genuinely connecting with and supporting the community.
Being a mother and homeschooling her two kids for over 8 years has been a huge part of Takala's life. It's taught her patience, creativity, and how to lead with heart – qualities she brings into her professional life too.
Stepping into this role, Takala is looking forward to being a part of Albion's growth. "I can't wait to put my skills to work, help our community thrive, and be a part of something that truly makes a difference."
